What the Assignor Won't Tell You

Sectional Responsibilities

2 person or 3 person

• There is no need to confirm to sectional games.
• The ‘R’ will contact the crew and get a confirmation from the u1 and the U2.
• No confirmation within 24 hours, then alert me and I will unassign the individual.
• Please show up one hour before tip-off, not 45 minutes.
• If you can’t show up one hour before the game, then don’t accept the game.
• You all need to have a pre-game and many of you didn’t show up for the refresher class and won’t have any idea what to do.
• The ‘R’ will check in with the site coordinator.
• The ‘R’ will conduct the pre-game, which will include the responsibilities of the U1 and U2.
• The ‘R’ will check the 4 court markings.
• The ‘R’ will ask the U1 and U2 to get captains at 14:30.
• The ‘R’ will check the scorebook at 12:00.
• The ’R’ will check the game ball. Bring a needle.
• The ‘R” will check the shot clock and make sure the LED lights do not come on.
• The ‘R’ will run game clock to 0:00 and make sure the LED lights come on.
• The ‘R’ will text me the final score and alert me if there were any issues.
